Course Outline

Learn Aussie English in this course designed around situations found in the Australian workplace and everyday life. Develop your speaking skills and fluency as you expand your vocabulary in a lively learning environment.

Topics include:

*Australian pronunciation, intonation and sentence stress

  • Useful vocabulary and grammar
  • Australian idioms and slang
  • Using clear and polite language
  • Phone etiquette
  • Non-verbal communication

Units are selected from FSK10113 Cert I in Access to Vocational Pathways and FSK10213 Certificate I in Skills for Vocational Pathways. Upon successful completion, students will receive a nationally accredited Statement of Attainment with the units covered.
