Course Outline

* Do you think your English skills are not quite good enough for work? Do your writing skills need some more improvement?

This course will help you fine-tune your speaking, reading and writing skills, particularly in the workplace. Expand the vocabulary you need to use at work and learn to write formal letters and emails. Improve your fluency, grammar and editing skills and reading at the same time.

  • Upper-Intermediate level of English.

  • Respond to routine workplace problems
  • Read and respond to workplace information


Outcomes

Units are selected from FSK20113 Certificate II in Skills for Vocational Pathways. Upon successful completion students will receive a nationally accredited Statement of Attainment.

Fees and Government Subsidies

This course may be subsidised by the NSW Government under the Smart and Skilled program, which assists eligible candidates in gaining the skills required to find a job. Students may be eligible for a concession or fee exemption, determined through Training Services NSW criteria. Students who claim an exemption or concession are required to provide evidence in accordance with the Smart and Skilled eligibility criteria. The full fee of $840.00 applies to non-residents (tourist, working holiday and other types of temporary visas) and those not eligible for a government subsidy.

All course materials will be provided. Just bring a notebook and a pen and be ready to learn in a friendly and relaxed environment.
