Course Outline

Develop basic communication skills for work and daily life in Australia. Our highly qualified English teachers ensure the classes are interactive, informative and social.

This course is suitable for complete beginners and students with very basic English language skills. Please contact us for a level assessment.

Outcomes

The class covers reading, writing, listening and speaking skills with units from FSK10113 Certificate I in Access to Vocational Pathways and 10362NAT Certificate I in Spoken and Written English.

All course materials will be provided. Just bring a notebook and a pen and be ready to learn in a friendly and relaxed environment.

Assessments are made against units of competency from the Certificate I in Skills for Vocational Pathways FSK10213.

  • Use simple strategies for work-related learning (FSKLRG08)
  • Engage in basic spoken exchanges at work (FSKOCM02)
  • Write simple workplace information (FSKWTG06)
  • Identify and use whole numbers and simple fractions, decimals and percentages for work (FSKNUM08)
