Course Outline

Good food (maybe home-grown), energy and water efficient homes, good company and a constructive approach to living... these things are the essence of the permaculture approach to life.

At this six-part workshop were we will learn how to permaculture-ise our lives by taking a journey through the permaculture design system. We’ll explore energy and resource efficient building design with architect Terry Bail and water efficiency with water consultant John Caley.

We’ll explore food and how to produce our own or to buy the good stuff with landscape architect Steve Batley as he takes us around the Permaculture Interpretive Garden at Randwick Community Centre. We’ll also learn about the new shared economy – collaborative consumption with Annette Louden and how to declutter your life with Cecilia Macauley.
