Develop the skill of telling a great story to engage your audience, whether you want to tell it, write it down or make a short film.

We live and work in a world where the well-told narrative is essential. It is crucial to business, career and personal life. Truth or fiction, we all have stories to tell, a need to share ideas, beliefs, experiences and themes. Our stories don’t always pour from us with ease. Telling them can be a struggle.

This workshop explores the framework of a great story and gives practical information on the craft and skill of storytelling.

Anyone anyone who ever tried telling a story that didn’t quite resonate. If you want to make a short film, tell your family history, write an article or make a speech, this is where and how it begins..

About your tutor

David is a storyteller – an Australian writer/director/editor and facilitator of writing workshops. He has written several films under contract for Australian producers has run writing workshops for two decades and was a television journalist for three decades. His screen credits include the $4.2 million feature film ‘Shotgun Wedding’, televisions shows, documentaries and numerous corporate, training and educational films.
David studied acting to become a better writer and director of actors and to further develop his craft of telling a yarn.
