Looking for the ultimate mind and body workout? These classes will tick all the boxes! Boxing is a great way to build muscular strength and fitness and reduce stress. It offers a supreme cardiovascular workout by targeting your core, legs, hips, back, obliques, arms and chest.
Our Boxing for Fitness classes offer boxing without the bravado. We provide a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere where all levels of ability are catered for and class numbers are limited to ensure personal attention and safety.
You’ll be sparring in pairs – one person wearing gloves, the other pads – then you’ll swap. Add in some shuttle-runs, abdominal exercises, push-ups and stretching and you have yourself a great full-body workout that burns calories, conditions your entire body and lets off plenty of steam! All boxing equipment is supplied.

About your tutor

Sheena has been teaching boxing and kickboxing since 2008. A believer that powerful things can come in small packages, she loves demonstrating that boxing is a fun way to get fit and that girls shouldn’t shy away from throwing a good punch. Sheena strives to make her classes inclusive and enjoyable for women and men of all shapes and sizes. Sheena holds Punch Fit certification and is a Boxing Australia certified coach.

What to bring

• Bottle of water
• Towel
• Thin cotton gloves, to line the boxing gloves
(available from chemists, approx. $2 a pair)

All courses need a minimum number of students to run. If your course does not have enough students it will be cancelled prior to commencement and you will be informed.
