Course Outline

Expand your mind and your social life by learning to play bridge in the company of other enthusiastic beginners. This four-week introductory course demystifies the complexities of the world’s most popular card game and has everyone playing by the first lesson. The appeal of bridge is that it is an easy game to learn, a hard game to master and you don’t have to be an expert to enjoy it.

Topics covered in this course include game basics, early bidding, game plan, responder shifts, opening 1NT, overcalls and doubles. You’ll learn to hone your skills through fun quizzes and practice bridge hands.

Course fee includes a text book ($15.00 RRP), four lessons, two supervised bridge sessions (usually $8.00 per session) and one year membership of Easts Bridge Club ($40.00).
