Want to write but don’t know how to start? Not sure which medium suits you? Your time starts now. Explore different mediums of writing to see which resonates with you. Once you find your best fit, you will be channelled into writing for the future.

Get inspired as you learn about the benefits of writing and how to get the get the time and discipline to write. Explore different genres of non fiction, fiction, short stories, travel writing, blogging and flash fiction. Also understand the processes to plan for longer works such as novellas or novels.

About your tutor

Elizabeth Gascoigne Rosa is a Sydney writer. She has a BA and LLB from the University of Sydney. Her novel, Legally Blind, a comedy, was released in 2009 and she has recently completed her novel, The Cellist, about an ambitious young musician who deceives his lover as to his true identity. Elizabeth is a tutor at the Sydney Story Factory and a judge of the Sydney Writers' Room Short Story Competition. She is also a Nationally Accredited Mediator in the area of workplace conflict.
