Improve your job seeking strategies in this course to help you enter the Australian workforce. Learn to write a cover letter and resume and practise interview skills.

Improve your job seeking skills and strategies. This course builds on employment skills and covers the following:

  • Cover letter
  • Resume
  • Job interview skills
  • Job seeking strategies
  • Written English: formal and informal emails and letters

Outcomes

Units are selected from FSK20113 Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways and FSK10213 Certificate I in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways:
*FSKWTG09 Write routine workplace texts
*FSKOCM07 Interact effectively with others at work
*FSKLRG07 Use strategies to identify job opportunities

Upon successful completion, students will receive a nationally accredited Statement of Attainment with the units achieved.

Ideal for

Anyone who wants to increase their success in finding a job in Australia. If English is not your native language, you need to have upper-intermediate/advanced level spoken and written English.

You will need a unique student identifier (USI), which we can help you set up when you are assessed.

NSW Government subsidised places are available for eligible Australian permanent residents, Australian and New Zealand citizens, humanitarian visa holders, over 15 and disadvantaged. Please call 9387 7400 to check your eligibility.
If candidates are not eligible for a government subsidy, the total cost for the course is $400.00.
