Course Outline

Mindfulness and Meditation is designed to teach you skills and techniques to help you be clear, calm, content, and balanced. This class is perfect for beginners as well as anyone looking to ‘refresh’ their meditation skills. A variety of meditations will be taught, including mindfulness, kindness, compassion, self-compassion, and deep relaxation. You will be encouraged to experiment with different meditation practices so that you can discover what works best for you. This will give you a toolkit of inner resources to draw upon in everyday life.

Although meditation is an ancient practice, in this program the practices will be taught in a “mainstream” way, with no religious ideology. The material will be practical and science-informed. Most practices will go for 15minutes, therefore making these accessible to a wide range of people with busy lives and multiple responsibilities. Techniques will be offered step by step over five sessions. These sessions are inclusive – you may choose to sit on a chair, or sit or lie down on the floor.

To enhance your experience, our Online Mindfulness & Meditation classes are limited to ten participants using Zoom.
