Course Outline

Design and make your own silver jewellery using the wax casting method. Carving from a wax gives much more freedom to achieve your creative vision, it also gives the option of recreating your original design. In this hands on course you will gain fundamental jewellery skills such as wax carving, casting clean-up and final polishing
Projects will include a ring band and pendant or brooch. You will create a wax model of your own design that will be sent to a commercial caster to be reproduced in sterling silver. You will be encouraged to undertake further projects if time permits.
