Rekha is passionate about food, its power to connect people and the importance of cooking literacy. Trained as a chef she has worked at some of Sydney’s most prestigious establishments including Bistro Moncur, Tetsuya’s, Pruniers and the Paddington Gertrude & Alice Café Bookstore, which she established and ran until 2009.
Most of all Rekha wants to demystify cooking and pass on her knowledge. She believes that exquisite meals are within the reach of everyone with a few simple skills and seasonal ingredients, and it doesn’t have to be expensive.
